LIBRARY TODAY
The foundation of any library is its collection, the composition of which affects the success of the library as a whole and the fulfillment of its objectives. It is the collection that determines the content, completeness and quality of the satisfaction and development of information needs of users. The better selected collection, the better the library can meet the needs of users.
As of the beginning of 2021, the Educational and scientific library of International European University had more than 12,000 copies of books. It subscribed to periodical publications for 2021: 28 newspapers and journals.

One of the key current trends in the development of library collections is the intensive expansion of their composition not only by topics but also by types of documents. While previously the library of the higher education institution was completed only with printed products (books, brochures, periodicals), today libraries of universities have electronic textbooks, electronic information resources, publications on non-paper media (CD-ROM or DVD-ROM), which are aimed at increasing the level and quality of information support.
