SCOPUS – Elsevier's multidisciplinary abstract database indexing over 21,000 journal titles from international publishers, 100,000 books and 6.8 million conference papers, etc. Updated daily, contains entries, including up to the first volume, the first issue of journals from leading scientific publishers. It allows researchers to conduct a professional search for scientific publications, see a variety of information about scientific solutions (which journals cover the topic, by which authors, what patents there are, data for specific years, etc.), get information about the authors developing a particular problem, information about organizations publishing research in a particular area, and analyze and compare the citation rate, publication activity, bibliometric indicators of scientific journals. It is a source of scientometric data for evaluation studies at the corporate and state levels.
